This is a training Kata so:
  • The opening bow is a different.
  • Keep the bo as horizontal, or vertical as possible.
  1. Feet together
    Start with bo vertical, against front of right shoulder.
    Left hand comes horizontal across chest, palm forward, knuckles rest on front of right shoulder, clasp bo.

    Announce "Tsi Yoi Bo".
    Bow.

  2. Step right foot forward into short forward stance, swing bo over top head strike.

  3. Step left foot up into horse stance, pull bo back, thrust.

    (west)
  4. Stay in horse stance, arch block to left (don't move feet).

    (east)
  5. Stay in horse stance, right quick vertical block (don't move feet)
  6. Step right foot into long forward stance, swing bo over top heaed strike,
    circle block.

    (west)
  7. Swivel 180 degrees left, slide left foot back into cat stance, anti-clockwise circle deflection,
    stomp left foot, jab down.

    (north)
  8. Step right foot forward into short forward stance, prepare bo on right shoulder.

  9. Step left foot up to right foot, swing bo over top head strike,
    step left foot back into short forward stance, prepare bo on right shoulder.

  10. Step left foot up to right foot, swing bo over top head strike,
    step left foot back into short forward stance, prepare bo on right shoulder.

  11. Step left foot up to right foot, swing bo over top head strike.

  12. Turn 90 degrees to right, step right foot forward, then bring left foot in front into crane stance, right quick vertical block to center.

  13. Step right foot into short forward stance, swing bo over top head strike,
    circle block.

    (west)
  14. Swivel 180 degrees left, slide left foot back into cat stance, anti-clockwise circle deflection,
    stomp left foot, jab down.

  15. Step right foot forward, left foot up into cross stance, arch block.

  16. Step left foot forward into short forward stance, swing bo over top head strike,
    circle block.

    (north)
  17. Swivel to right into horse stance, right quick vertical block, stop when facing north.

  18. Step left foot forward to right foot, hold bo in tight,
    step right foot forward into horse stance, feet inline, push bo forward.

  19. Step right foot into long forward stance, swing bo over top head strike,
    circle block,
    thrust.

  20. Swivel left into horse stance, at 45 degree angle, bo comes forward at 45 degree angle, left hand by forehead, right forearm horizontal elbow on hip .

  21. Step left foot east, so feet are inline north, drop into low horse stance, swing bo around, let it slide in hands, bo horizontal, left hand on hip KIAI.

  22. Pull bo back, so hand are in right position.

    (north)
  23. Swivel right to face north feet together, bo prepared for bow.

  24. Bow.
